Zinc Ricinoleate is an odor-neutralizing agent, known for its effectiveness in personal care and cosmetic products. This wax-like pellet is a natural derivative of Ricinoleic acid from castor oil and is primarily found in deodorants. Zinc Ricinoleate comes from the zinc salt of ricinoleic acid – a major fatty acid found in castor oil. It comes from the seeds of the Ricinus communis plant, and absorbs odor molecules, making them unnoticeable to the odor receptors in our noses.
