Our pig lard includes additives such as BHA, Propyl Gallate, and Citric Acid for preservation.
Suitable For Cosmetic and Food Purposes
Pig lard can be used in cosmetics, including products for: sunburns, cleaning, wounds and burns, insect bites, massages and soap making projects.
The lard has a similar cellular make up and pH of our skin making it a great option for lotions and cleansers. A reason for this is because pigs are efficient at processing sunlight and storing Vitamin D in their fat. Vitamin D can help reduce acne, minimize dark spots and promote collagen production.
Lard is extracted from pig fat and available in both liquid and solid states. It is characterized by its white color and significant saturated fatty acid content. Our pork lard is as a natural butter additive and comes in various sizes: buy bulk, gallon size buckets of lard.
