Recommended Ratios:

• Sugar (White or Brown): 10.6 ounces
• Glycerin: 21.2 ounces
• Carrier Oil (e.g., Plum Seed or Apricot Kernel Oil): 1.8 ounces
• Fragrance or Essential Oils: 0.5 – 0.88 ounces (Check IFRA usage guidelines)
• Color: Cosmetic-safe colorants like micas

Tools Needed:

• Large mixing bowl
• Mixer
• Scales
• Gloves
• Goggles
• Optional: Piping bag and tip

How To Use:

1. Preparation: Pre-weigh all ingredients in separate bowls.

2. Mixing:

• • Place a large mixing bowl on the scale, tare it, and weigh out the base.
  • Beat on slow speed until the mixture softens.
  • Gradually add glycerin, carrier oil, fragrance, and color, blending well.
  • Slowly add sugar, increasing speed as necessary until smooth and creamy.
  • Avoid over-whipping to prevent collapse.

3. Packaging: Spoon or pipe the mixture into 4-8 oz PET jars with lids. The mixture will thicken over several days.
