Electric Neon Purple Mica Powder is a vibrant and intense purple pigment, boasting a shiny, metallic finish. This mica powder has a particle size ranging from 10-60 microns, making it suitable additive for various products. While it is primarily used in cosmetics, soaps, and other personal care products, it’s important to note that it is not FDA approved for cosmetic use, particularly in the eye area or on lips.
Despite this limitation, the Purple Mica Powder is a versatile and non-toxic option for soap making. It is recommended for use in Cold Process (CP), Melt and Pour (MP), and bath bombs. When it comes to soap making, the usage rates vary: for CP and HP, 1-2 teaspoons per pound are recommended, and for MP, 0.5 teaspoons per pound is sufficient.
