Citric Acid Anhydrous is available in the form of a white crystalline powder without any discernible aroma. Its fine-grade quality facilitates ease of handling and contributes to the creation of exceptionally smooth-surfaced bath bombs. This naturally occurring compound is found in various fruits and vegetables, with its highest concentrations observed in lemons and limes, where it can make up to 8% of the fruit’s composition.

How To Use:

Use in formulations at 0.1% to 4%.
Water-soluble; not suitable for oil-only formulations.
Often used with Bicarbonate of Soda for fizzy bath bombs.

Precautions for Citric Acid Anhydrous:

Avoid lowering product pH below 3.5 (peeling level acidity for skin).
Can sting if it comes into contact with cuts, scratches, or eyes.
Exercise caution when making bath bombs or working with children who may rub their eyes.

If you can buy in bulk, the 50 lb bag is the best price around, and free shipping! I store it in airtight containers that i bought at Home Depot.

This is the only Citric Acid I have found at this price. It is a great product. I only ever have to sift this product, whereas I was having to grind my citric acid from other suppliers. I will only buy my citric acid from SES.
