Activated Charcoal Powder is known for its deep cleansing and purifying abilities in cosmetics. The charcoal is extracted through a high-temperature process in an oxygen-deprived environment. It is extracted from natural high carbon sources like coconut shells, wood, and bamboo. The extraction results in a fine, odorless black powder with a highly porous structure. The charcoal acts as a magnet, effectively attracting and encapsulating toxins, impurities, and excess substances from the skin and hair.
Our Activated Charcoal’s purifying properties make it a great choice to use in hair care products like shampoos and masks, as it effectively clears away product buildup and excess sebum from the scalp. As a result, activated charcoal can help improve hair’s health, leaving it shiny, voluminous, and feeling lightweight. The charcoal is also a popular ingredient in facial clay masks, scrubs, and cleansers.
