Ingredients for Sugar Scrubs:

To create a sugar scrub with our Foaming Bath Butter Base, you’ll need the following:

• 10.6 ounces (300.50 grams) Foaming Bath Butter Base
• 21.20 ounces (601.01 grams) Sugar
• 1.80 ounces (51.02 grams) Glycerin
• Carrier Oil of your choice (e.g., Plum Seed or Apricot Kernel Oil to avoid allergies)
• 1.1 ounces (31.18 grams) Cosmetic Safe Fragrance or 0.50 – 0.88 ounces (14.17 – 24.94 grams) Essential Oils (Check IFRA usage guidelines)
• Cosmetic Safe Colors, such as Micas

Directions to Make Sugar Scrub:

1. Pre-Weigh Ingredients: Measure all ingredients into separate bowls to avoid over-pouring.
2. Mixing Base: Place a large mixing bowl on the scale, tear it out, and weigh the desired amount of base. Beat on slow speed until it softens.
3. Adding Ingredients: Gradually add glycerin, carrier oil, fragrance, and color, blending well. Slowly incorporate sugar, increasing speed as needed until the mixture is smooth and creamy. Avoid over-whipping to prevent collapse.
4. Packaging: Spoon or pipe the mixture into jars. Note that the mixture will thicken over several days.
5. Labeling: Follow FDA regulations for labeling if selling the product.
